A ring should slide easily over the knuckle without slipping once it's on. With this guide you can find your size in just a few minutes – no jeweller needed.
How to read our sizes
In our shop, the ring size equals the inner diameter in millimetres (e.g. ‘17,5 mm’ = 17.5 mm). The usual EU size is shown in brackets (e.g. ‘EU 55’); it corresponds to the inner circumference in millimetres.
Method 1: Using a ring that fits well (most accurate)
- Take a ring that fits the chosen finger well.
- Place it on a ruler and measure the inner diameter – from inside edge to inside edge, without the metal.
- Choose the closest value in the chart. If you are exactly between two sizes, go for the larger one.
Even easier: print out the circles below and place your ring on top. The circle that exactly fills the inside edge is your size.
Method 2: Using a strip of paper
- Cut a strip of paper about 1 cm wide.
- Wrap it around the widest part of your finger (usually the knuckle) – not too tightly.
- Mark the point where the paper overlaps and measure the length in millimetres.
- This value is your circumference and corresponds to the EU size in the chart.

Tips for finding the right size
- Measure in the afternoon or evening at room temperature – fingers are slimmer in the morning and in the cold.
- For wide rings (from approx. 6 mm), it is best to choose half a size larger.
- Fingers on the left and right hand often differ in size – measure the finger on which you intend to wear the ring.
- Planning a surprise? Secretly borrow one of the recipient's rings and measure it as described in Method 1.
